Sylhet Women’s Medical College (SWMC) is a private medical school in Bangladesh, exclusively for female students, established in 2005. It is located in Mirboxtola, in central Sylhet. It is affiliated with Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) under the School of Medical Sciences.
It offers a five-year course of study leading to a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery(MBBS) degree. A one-year internship after graduation is compulsory for all graduates. The degree is recognized by the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council.
Medical College for Women’s & Hospital affiliated with University of Dhaka
Medical College for Women and Hospital (MCW&H) is a private medical college of Bangladesh exclusively for women. It has currently two academic campuses in Uttara, Dhaka, one in Sector – 1 and the other in Uttarakhand. The college is affiliated with the Dhaka University as a constituent college.
Medical College for Women and Hospital was established in 1992 by a group of people known as the founder members. Their aim was to provide quality medical education, research and services to the people of Bangladesh at a reasonable cost. The college and the hospital are run by The Medical and Health Welfare Trust, a nonpolitical nonprofit organisation. The trustees serve without compensation.

International Medical College (IMC) was established in the year 2000 after completing all procedural formalities and after obtaining permission from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. International Medical College started with 20 students in the academic session 1999-2000. Since then the number of students progressively increased every year.
The International Medical College & Hospital is located at the outskirts of the commercial township of Tongi and is about 22 km away from the city centre of Dhaka. The major bus stands/terminals, railway station and Shahjalal International Airport are within a maximum distance of 30 minutes.

Dhaka National Medical College affiliated to University of Dhaka
Dhaka National Medical College is an educational institution in Dhaka, Bangladesh. It was founded in 1925 as the Dhaka National Medical Institute which was then situated near Bahadur Shah Park.
Following the 1972 independence of Bangladesh, the educational function of the Dhaka National Medical Institute became moribund, although the associated hospital remained active. A medical college capability was restored with the creation of the Dhaka National Medical College. It was inaugurated on 15 October 1994 and was opened to its first students.It has a 650 bedded multidisciplinary hospital complex adjacent to the academic building.The college offers a five-year course of study, approved by the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BMDC), leading to a Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from Dhaka University. After passing the final professional examination, there is a compulsory one-year internship.
